The Northern Midlands has many venues for social and formal gatherings and functions.
Please find following a list of all the halls and community centres available with the Northern Midlands Municipality. Please note that these forms are for your information only and are to be returned to the contact person / management committee for each Hall / Community Centre not to Council directly. You must contact the relevant person listed to enquire about available dates and times.
COVID-19 UPDATE
Events in Tasmania are no longer regulated by specific COVID-19 Public Health Guidelines.
This means there are no requirements for event organisers to submit COVID-19 safety plans and gain approval from Public Health to conduct their events.

The fees and charges for the halls and community centres are included with contact information listed below (NOTE: fees and charges are subject to change please contact the relevant management committee to confirm correct charge). The Facility Hire Agreements and Conditions for Hire of Council Facilities are included with the specific Hall / Community Centre for your information. Please note that these forms are to be returned to the contact person / management committee for each Hall / Community Centre not to Council directly.
Please note Consumption and or selling of alcohol in a public street or any public place, excluding premises licensed under the Liquor Licensing Act, is prohibited Under the Police Offences Act 1935.
To obtain necessary permit for a Liquor licence please see the Department of Treasury and Finance’s website for application information and forms.
